Jayne Torvill, Christopher Dean and ITV have announced that Dancing on Ice will end next year and this will be followed by the last ever Dancing on Ice tour – a spectacular live show, that will perform at Capital FM Arena Nottingham 8-10 April 2014.

Jayne and Chris said: “Next year will be the 30th anniversary of Bolero and our Olympic Gold medal in Sarajevo, so for us, it seemed a fitting time to say goodbye to Dancing on Ice. We wanted to go out on a high!”

The hunt is on to find 300 dishes from nine regions of Great Britain

The search will begin this month for what hopes to be the start of something special, celebrating our very diverse culture, uncovering extraordinary dishes served up in the 100s of pubs, restaurants and hotels across our great nation.

We are looking for venues in England, Scotland & Wales that have a dish worthy of featuring in The Great British Cook Book, and perhaps winning a fantastic prize, and global recognition.

Our job is to find 100 starters, 100 main course and 100 desserts, which embrace local produce, regional tastes and use ingredients as locally sourced as possible.

Over the bank holiday weekend the castle will play host to a fine array of local handmade crafts and food producers from across Derbyshire and the East Midlands.

Set four miles southeast of the city of Derby is Elvaston Castle Country Park, a picturesque site featuring over 200 acres of woodlands, parkland and formal gardens.

The food and craft event will be held in the castle court yard where marquees and stands will be selling everything from meats, cheeses, pickles and confectionary through to fine arts, crafts, jewellery, and beauty products all handmade locally.

We will also be helping the Children’s Air Ambulance raise vital funds for this lifesaving Charity that is none government funded

On both days there will be a range of hot and cold foods and snacks on sale
